Let your bad thoughts about yourself and your many sins not prevent you from supplicating

Let your bad thoughts about yourself and your many sins

not prevent you from supplicating (making du'aa) to your Lord,

for verily He answered the supplication of Iblees when he [Iblis (Satan)] said:

"O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they (the dead) will be resurrected".

Where your mind goes during prayer is where your heart is. 

Take it back to your Lord.
